Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with OLIGARCH, we may collect:
- identity and contact details, including name, email address and telephone number;
- vehicle details, configuration preferences and information relevant to a private commission;
- billing, delivery and transaction information;
- order history, quotations, approvals and communications with our atelier;
- technical and security data that may be processed by our hosting infrastructure, such as network and device information needed to operate and protect the service;
- website usage data where analytics technologies have been accepted. OLIGARCH’s first-party behavioural analytics does not retain raw IP addresses or full browser user-agent strings.
We do not intentionally request special-category data such as medical, biometric, political or religious information.
How we use personal data
- to assess access requests and the feasibility of a commission;
- to prepare quotations, specifications, contracts and invoices;
- to manufacture, deliver, install and support OLIGARCH products and services;
- to communicate about enquiries, projects, payments, warranties or aftercare;
- to secure, maintain and improve our website and services;
- to send marketing communications only where permitted and, when required, with consent;
- to comply with accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.
Legal grounds
We process personal data when necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract or to perform a contract; to comply with legal obligations; for legitimate interests such as website security, fraud prevention, service improvement and management of client relationships; and on the basis of consent for optional analytics or marketing activities.
Who receives personal data
Where necessary and subject to appropriate contractual safeguards, information may be shared with payment processors, banks, couriers, logistics and installation partners, manufacturing suppliers, accountants, legal advisers, IT, CRM and hosting providers, and public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
We do not sell personal data. Partners receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services or meet legal obligations.
International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate safeguards.
Storage, security and retention
We apply proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, but access is limited to authorised persons and providers with a legitimate need.
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. Enquiry data is kept for a reasonable business period; project and contract records are retained for the duration of the relationship and applicable limitation periods; accounting and invoicing records are retained for the period required by Romanian law; consent records are retained while needed to demonstrate compliance.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability or objection to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
